Name: Emma Age: 26 Course: BA (Hons) Business University of Wales
“I finished my HND when I was 19 and had decided that I needed to work full time as I was starting to depend on the money I was earning through the summer months. I wanted to put all my effects into developing my future with in the work place. Although I had always wanted to stay on and complete the BA Hons degree, going into full time work was the best plan for me, and I always knew I could complete it sometime in the future. At present I am a director of our family motor business and at 28 with no children I feel that now is a perfect time to complete this course. I chose distance learning for many reasons really, one of them being my work and family commitments, and also I like to learn and plan at my own pace, which I believe creates a more productive environment to learn in. Also all aspects of the assessments and exams are completed online which means I don’t have to get stressed about travelling. I found selecting and enrolling on this course a very simply and stress free process. When I phoned up to ask about some questions I had, I found people to be very informative and friendly, making the process even enjoyable. I am a born worrier and I do need a lot of reassurance and I know through this course my tutors will get to know this very well. I have already spoken to the support staff and have found them to be most friendly and very supportive, which has given me a huge boost of confidence. I have already gained so much knowledge from reading through the units and the learning activities; I love to learn and am really enjoying applying the course to my working environment and also using my knowledge to help me through this course. I feel that with this course under my belt I will have the confidence to move forward within our company and improve on my management skills benefiting myself and our family business. I would most defiantly recommend RDI to others as it is so convenient and manageable; also the staff are really great and make you feel you really can do it. Here’s to the future!"
